Aura Pharm LLC Kavadarci (“Aura Pharm”) is an early-stage startup in the medicinal cannabis industry, focused on improving lives by offering high-quality medical cannabis products.
The company is vertically integrated, covering cultivation, extraction, genetics research, product development, and wholesale distribution.
Located in Koreshnica Village, Demir Kapija Municipality, North Macedonia, Aura Pharm operates a modern 4,708 m² facility on a 29,931 m² site, with room for future expansion. An additional 30,000 m² is secured for photovoltaic solar panels, supporting sustainability, energy independence, and lower operational costs.
Aura Pharm employs 12 staff, including five university graduates. CEO Todorche Smilev, an economist with cannabis industry experience, leads the company with expertise in financial management and production scaling.
The team is composed of professionals specialized in Pharmaceutical Technology and Drug Testing & Control, with extensive experience in the medical cannabis industry. The technical team also includes electrical and mechanical engineers who oversee automated production systems.
Additionally, Aura Pharm is advised by a nationally and internationally recognized pharmaceutical expert with over 23 years of practical experience, providing strategic guidance and ensuring full compliance with QMS and GMP standards.
The project’s conceptual framework has been meticulously developed in alignment with an approved program, based on detailed analysis and foundational documentation. It fully

incorporates environmental, cultural, and nature conservation measures, including rescue efforts, and complies with all national regulations for cannabis cultivation and pharmaceutical manufacturing in North Macedonia.
Aura Pharm has successfully completed the construction of its state-of-the-art production facility, which includes:
- Dedicated areas for cannabis cultivation
- GMP-compliant cleanrooms (Cleanliness Class D, ISO Class 8) for extraction and pharmaceutical production
